Advantages: cool look, portability, 4 USB ports
Disadvantages: a little pricey maybe

...he wrote for it."My new Dell is ultra thin and smokin hot in bright red. I am a college student and give this product a solid A. With 4 usbs I can plug in all my parifrials like my mouse , extra speakers and my printer?scanner or I can just grab and go because my computer is super portable. and has all the features. The screen , graphics, and sound are great for playing games when I am lounging around my dorm room. The price is fair for a good value ... Read review

Inspiron 9300 just wont quit!
Review of Dell Inspiron 9300 - Pentium M 750 1.86 GHz - 17" TFT by cindy98989

Advantages: large screen, quiet, doesn't overheat, built in wireless
Disadvantages: on the heavy side for travelling

I've owned my Dell 9300 for over 2 years. It is on 24/7 and I have never had a problem with it. This laptop was well worth the money when it was first introduced by Dell. The 17 inch screen is great if you would rather have a laptop then a desktop. My 9300 came with only 512k of memory, but that has been enough to play games and do everything else I've used it for. ...all the pre-intalled programs from Dell were deleted, this laptop ran even faster. (Dell now has an option not to have preinstalled software on your new computer!) The touch pad works well, easy to use and the volume is pretty decent for a laptop. I purchased a small laptop mouse to use with mine because I play games and using the touch pad for gaming is way too slow. I have since bought the new Dell laptop 1525 but I'm still using my 9300 daily. ... Read review

Latitude D830
Review of Dell Latitude D830 - Core 2 Duo T7100 1.8 GHz - 15.4" TFT by lillilmike

Advantages: Super Fast, User Friendly, Cool design.
Disadvantages: Could have a few more features.

I own this Dell Latitude D830 it is a very fast, very reliable piece of equipment. It has dual core so its pretty good for gaming also with a very good video card. I wouldn't recommend it for the highest newest games but its very good to get you playing some of the recent games. It runs all sorts of O.S. so thats a plus. Compatible with most software. It can hold up to 4 gigs of ram. Easy lite weight, goof for the average business man and or student. ...
...items. Comes with some good dell utilities too. Such as blue tooth, secure storage, embassy security, and also my favorite a TRACKER. So if it is ever lost or stolen you can call tell and they can track it down. So all in all its a very good piece of equipment. I recommend it ! ... Read review
