small but powerful
Review of ASUS Eee PC 901 by windstruck

Advantages: small, great features, light, cheap, portable, everything about it
Disadvantages: NONE!

...This is proven much by ASUS Notebook Eee PC 901. As I have dropped by a computer shop today, I just couldn't get over this product. It's so small, cheap, portable, light, durable (the name ASUS tells it), and has everything I crave for in notebook. I can't believe it myself that such a small thing could contain such a big features (I'm just gonna put up the features that amazes me): *12 GB of Flash based storage *1 GB of DDR2 RAM *Windows XP ...
...with 1024x600 resolution *has 2 usb ports *other ports include: headphone jack, microphone input, SD card reader, lock slot, ethernet 10/100 *webcam (1.3 MP) *wireless *weight: less than 1 kilogram with battery(how light is that?) *dimensions: 6.87" x 8.87" x 6.63" (how small can it get?) I probably have included ALL of its features. What can I do? This one is really amazing and a ""MUST HAVE" for those of you who likes to travel and are at ... Read review

Too litle to look for a space to keep it.
Review of ASUS Eee PC 4G by triptibaby

Advantages: Portability, effectiveness.
Disadvantages: Runs on Linux.

...termed their target. Asus came up with their innovation in the field of portable computers, the way which I love describing laptops, and released their ASUS Eee PC 4 G for the delight of the Laptop users. As the name states, the ASUS Eee PC 4 G comes 4GB HDD which can be extended to 8GB. The PC uses a Celeron processor from Intel with 512MB of DDR2 or memory. It is too little to accomodate in your pocket which saves a lots of space. Actually we can ...
...don't find any reason why ASUS gone with Linux which is too heavy for the new entrants to the world of PC. Anyway, ASUS has customized it a lot to make it customer friendly. The 7 inch display screen, the TFT display rather, is really bringing up a readable interface for your work and you can well recognize and perfrom according to your use. For connectivity, you have the USB and SD card reader. The tiny product, ASUS Eee PC 4 G, may revolutionised ... Read review

Good show piece
Review of Sony VAIO NR498 by rajakrsnan

Advantages: Stylish
Disadvantages: Expensive

I like Sony Vaio for its cool looks. Sony Vaio is a fashion statement. I fell in love with it the moment i saw. I personaly use another brand but always carry a wish that one day i will lay my hands on a Vaio. The configuration is ok for me. Higher memory of 3Gb to 4GB is always preferable. my personal pereferance is for 4GB Ram which is ideal for todays operating systems. 250Gb HDD is ideal for stuffing as much into it. 5Hrs battery run time is ... Intel Atom for the Lenovo Ideapad
Review of Lenovo IdeaPad S10 Intel Atom Processor Speed: 1.6 by certifiedblogaholic

Advantages: Excellent speed for a netbook
Disadvantages: Still heats up the laptop in an hour

Lenovo recently entered the netbook market with the Ideapad S10. It uses the latest Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor used by the earlier-released netbooks, MSI Wind, Acer Aspire, and Asus Eee PC 901. Compared to my Asus Eee 4G with an Intel Celeron 900 MHz, the speed and performance of the Intel Atom accelerated dramatically. The first time I turned it on, Windows start-up was approximately just under 30 seconds. I hadn't expected a netbook to be this ...
...fast as the Intel Core 2 Duo processor. But then again, for a gadget this small, it was satisfactory. Lenovo's Intel Atom exceeded my expectations in terms of speed. Considering the $439 price tag, it is definitely good value for a portable laptop. If only it can perform without causing the laptop to heat up too much in a short time, it may spell doom for regular-sized laptops. ... Read review

Asus Eee PC 1000 Intel Atom
Review of Asus Eee PC 1000 Intel Atom by sanderman

Advantages: Good
Disadvantages: not maded for games

This notebook is good to have, it's very compact, you can use it for light things, like office, it isn't made for big games because the hardware of this Notebook is not made for that. The mark of the processor is intel, so that's very good, because intel is always good. You got 512 KB Cach memory and 1024 normal memory. YOu also got 160 GB Flash HD, that's very good, because the risc you lose data at a flash HD is very low. This notebook uses Windows ... Read review
