HP Compaq Business Notebook 6720s
This is only my second lappie and the first for some years and I have been delighted with its slim profile, excellent quality screen (videos, YouTube and pictures appear very realistic) and the speed with which it recharges. I love the HP brand and having looked at other makes I came back to my first choice as I know the customer support available is excellent and I have never been disappointed with an HP product.
... ...bigger one can be bought and as there are three power settings that you can choose you can decide how to utilise the available power. The memory is ample for pretty much all ones needs although it has come pre-loaded with several programs I am probably not going to need, so the boot-up time is a little longer than I anticipated.
The internal speakers leave a bit to be desired as anything above a low sound becomes fuzzy, but you can plug in a headset ...

Advantages: reliable, not to expensive Disadvantages: not so good battery
...you can install programs from HP that your "qouick-keys" are working. It has a very strong WLAN antenna (built-in) and a good middle fast disk. I was shocked (positive) when i saw, how good is fingerprint-scanner. Its amazing!
I'd only like to say that the battery's atonomy is not soooo long, but it's good. I'm running vista on this laptop (i added a 1GB RAM stick) and it is working perfectly. This laptop is also not so expensive and is't very good ...

I like Sony Vaio for its cool looks. Sony Vaio is a fashion statement. I fell in love with it the moment i saw. I personaly use another brand but always carry a wish that one day i will lay my hands on a Vaio. The configuration is ok for me. Advantages: Excellent speed for a netbook Disadvantages: Still heats up the laptop in an hour
Lenovo recently entered the netbook market with the Ideapad S10. It uses the latest Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor used by the earlier-released netbooks, MSI Wind, Acer Aspire, and Asus Eee PC 901.
Compared to my Asus Eee 4G with an Intel Celeron 900 MHz, the speed and performance of the Intel Atom accelerated dramatically. The first time I turned it on, Windows start-up was approximately just under 30 seconds. I hadn't expected a netbook to be this ... ...fast as the Intel Core 2 Duo processor. But then again, for a gadget this small, it was satisfactory.
Lenovo's Intel Atom exceeded my expectations in terms of speed. Considering the $439 price tag, it is definitely good value for a portable laptop. If only it can perform without causing the laptop to heat up too much in a short time, it may spell doom for regular-sized laptops. ...

Advantages: Good Disadvantages: not maded for games
This notebook is good to have, it's very compact, you can use it for light things, like office, it isn't made for big games because the hardware of this Notebook is not made for that.
