Lenovo weighing 6-pounds is a consumer level laptop, mid-range. Not that expensive around $600. The keypad is similar to that of the Thinkpad keyboards, almost the same. Provides more room for touch pad and its scrolling features. There is something about this Laptop that comes only with business laptops, the finger print scanner. The Speakers of the Laptop are not that special. Do not provide impressive bass at all. Good enough for games and music ... ...and not to forget nVidia Ge Force Go 7300, 256 MB dedicated memory. This configuration is more than just enough for my kind of gaming. Light and average kind of gaming just for passing time and relaxing, I think this is enough for the graphics to be taken care of.

This laptop is very unique. It has lots of storage space in your hard drive and the keys press easily. The screen looks like a plasma screen and it has a little built in mouse right below the keys. ...The otherwise performance of the Lenovo ThinkPad X61 is very impressive. Its 7200rpm hard drive gives very fast load times. The best thing about the Lenovo ThinkPad X61.
It has an 8-cell extended battery, which lasts for not more than four to five hours. Compared to Windows XP, Vista is bad about power management eats lot of precious power.
Lenovo ThinkPad X61 is hot, well it emits more heat than one could expect from a laptop, which is a considerably ... ...the heat in your wrist.
