Lenovo weighing 6-pounds is a consumer level laptop, mid-range. Not that expensive around $600. The keypad is similar to that of the Thinkpad keyboards, almost the same. Provides more room for touch pad and its scrolling features. There is something about this Laptop that comes only with business laptops, the finger print scanner. I have been using the Acer Extensa 4630 since November 2007 and it has served me well. What I enjoy most about this laptop is the keypad which is soft and comfortable to type.
