Lenovo weighing 6-pounds is a consumer level laptop, mid-range. Not that expensive around $600. The keypad is similar to that of the Thinkpad keyboards, almost the same. Provides more room for touch pad and its scrolling features. There is something about this Laptop that comes only with business laptops, the finger print scanner. The Speakers of the Laptop are not that special. Do not provide impressive bass at all. Good enough for games and music ...

I bought this laptop because my dental school decided this was the laptop everybody was going to use. The laptop is light and sturdy. I commuted to school with my laptop in my backpack everyday. Acer Aspire 3050 is categorized in the low price end of laptops. It's hard to find a laptop which is cheaper and still performs as well as this machine. ...nice I think. Acer Aspire 3050 comes with a RW DVD drive, a 14.1" TFT active WXGA monitor (1280x800) and build in wireless LAN, so that you can connect to a wireless internet device.
