Advantages: fast, reliable, great screen, light Disadvantages: n/a
Now this is definately one of the top job laptops for me, ultimate in all aspects that I can think of which I will now describe to you!
Firstly, it looks pretty decent, I am not saying this is on of the strong points, but its pretty nice and sleek with a simple design, nothing extreme!
On the technical side of things... wow, I had a great time with this computer! It was fast and reliable all the time and ran all DVDs quickly when I needed to sit ...

Advantages: great look, good screen, ok reliability Disadvantages: crashes occasionally, not greatest speed
This is one COOL laptop, its abit heavy judging by how thick the base is, but it is a mean looking piece of machinery.
The specs on this computer arent the best but man doesnt it look brilliant, with its silver screen border branching into varied shapes and the black at the bottom with silver segments making it look like some robot!
It worked pretty well, took some time to load a few DVD movies and videos but overall it was good. Crashes were very ...

Advantages: Easy to type on, nice glossy screen, choice of colors, lightweight Disadvantages: Horrid speakers, sound card, dell wireless card
...purchased not 1 but 2 Dell Inspiron 1525 laptops. The price was right! My daughter got the bright green case and I got the blossom. Thier nice looking laptops, good size 15" screens, true color glossy. The keyboards seem to be much easier to type on then my old 9300 Dell laptop. Speed is good, and applications load quickly on boot up.
Although this laptop is a great deal for the price, there are some downsides to it. 1. The speakers are horrid unless ... ...to a better sound card. Dell boo boo on that one. The 1525 has Dell brand built in wireless, with xtra built in antennas for better connections. Ummmmm...Dell has some work to do on their wireless cards. My old 9300 has Intel wireless built in and I can pick up free wifi just about everywhere I go. Using the 1525 in the same places, I am unable to connect to the same wifi I get with my 9300. I should have upgraded to Intel wireless (kicked myself ...

Advantages: Lightweight, Excellent Video and Affordable Disadvantages: Low On-board Audio, No DVD Writer
The Acer Aspire 3680 is a very lightweight and reliable notebook. I had mine upgraded to 1 Gig of ram and installed Windows Vista Ultimate, which didn't seem to slow it down at all. The graphics card and display monitor are superb, providing a crystal clear viewing experience. The drawbacks to this notebook are that the on-board audio is very low. I recommend purchasing a small, portable set of speakers to enhance the sound. Second, I have yet to ...

Advantages: easy to use, compatible with new software, has Microsoft Office available, very customizable Disadvantages: it's a different type of computer if you are used to a PC
...the money. The .Mac program and the Apple Support are also worth the money that you have to dish out to get them. And if you're smart, you'll buy the office and sell it to your friends when you're done, because you can use the program up to 3 times. ...
