My friend is a real serious computer user and gave up using a tablet style laptop when the Macbook Air became available. ...it needs recharging. He's also discovered a limitation with the one USB port. The port has only enough power for running one device such as the DVD drive. If he uses a USB hub to gain additional ports, he has to use a powered USB hub to have sufficient power for both a DVD drive and say a mouse. Thinkpad t61pDescription I bought the t61p 3 monthes ago. It is a real power horse. Windows Vista runs very smoothely on this machine. The 1920x1200 screen resolution results in a very fine-grained text display. The t61p comes with a lot of interfaces including firewire, usb, wifi, card reader. This is an excellent laptop. I have not had any issues with any aspect of it. The size and weight makes it easy to carry around. The computer operates quickly. The design is very nice and professional looking. There are many built in features such as the camera that come in very handy.
