Acer Aspire 5315-2077 - Celeron M 540 1.86 GHz - 15.4" TFT... This laptop is a great portable computer, which is reliable, complete and ultimate in style, portability, graphical capability, audio capability and all of this for such a cheap price! From my experience with this laptop, I must say it is very good in all the areas a laptop should be. I had alot of games which required ridiculous amounts of graphics memory, and for some reason, this ... Read review

Review of Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 15.4" TFT by adamiscool

Advantages: Fast and Sleek
Disadvantages: Expensive and Heavy

The good: Beautiful, sleek design; robust software package, including Mac OS X Tiger; illuminated keyboard and big, scrollable touch pad; multimedia features include DVD burner, built-in Webcam, and remote control; can run Windows XP via Boot Camp. The bad: Nonnative software runs slowly on Mac OS; subpar battery life; lacks media card reader and some other ports; higher-end configurations are much more expensive than their PC equivalents; only ... Not as great as it looks
Review of Apple MacBook Air Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz - 13.3" TFT by jabbusch-girl

Advantages: thin, graphics, portable
Disadvantages: doesn't work as good as others, hard to connect as tims

...bought this very nice looking apple laptop. It is a very expensive kind of laptop to have and I think that is why she liked it because she thought that it would work better than others that was cheap. But she has told me that it worked ok but not as good as she thought that it would. The down loading was slower than some laptops. The connection was difficult at times to get onto the internet. It is very thin looking and the graphics were nice looking. ... Read review

MacBook Air
Review of Apple MacBook Air Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz - 13.3" TFT by adamiscool

Advantages: Incredibly thin yet surprisingly sturdy.
Disadvantages: Very limited connectivity; slower than other MacBooks.

...thick at its thickest, and Apple calls it the "world's thinnest notebook." The good: Incredibly thin yet surprisingly sturdy; new trackpad gesture controls are very useful; remote optical drive makes living without a built-in drive much easier. The bad: Very limited connectivity; slower than other MacBooks; SSD hard-drive option is ridiculously expensive and standard hard drive is small; battery is not user replaceable. The bottom line: The design ... Read review

Acer Aspire Inspires me to buy something else
Review of Acer Aspire 5050-3785 - Turion 64 MK-38 2.2 GHz - 14.1" TFT by PaulCavanaugh

Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Poor quality, easily broken, slow, expensive for its abilities

The Acer Aspier, summed up in one word would probably be....CRAP. The Acer Aspire is cheap, easily broken, very slow, and accident prone. If you are looking for a cheap computer that is a good computer, do not look here. For how many bad qualities this laptop has this price is outrageous. The mouse buttons give way and break very easily, the keys are easily removed, but can barely ever be placed back on. This laptop runs extremely slow and can sometimes ... Read review
