Advantages: value for money Disadvantages: ugly and heavy
I've one of this Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-EZ1004X laptop previously but sold it out and get myself a new one. well, the laptop is quite reliable, and fast. With the processor of Intel Core 2 Duo T5870 / 2 GHz, you can't be wrong that it is quite fast in speed compare to others.
One thing I don't like about this laptop is its outlook, well, even though it comes with titanium silver, I don't see that the design of this laptop is nice enough, looks ...

Advantages: quality graphic card Disadvantages: speed is not that fast
The processor of Toshiba Satellite X205-S9800 laptop is just moderate, which is 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5550. With this price, I expect higher speed processor, well, at least 2.1 Ghz. The speed of the processor and hard drive is not high enough, making the laptop speed quite slow. However, with 250GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive, the space of this hard drive is quite big, making me not to worry to store alot of my movies and animation files, ... ...that it comes with nVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT 512MB Graphics, which give me a high graphic card to do my designing work, I guess this laptop is expensive because of its graphics cards. I definitely recommend this for those who want to use this laptop for casual use. ...

I like Sony Vaio for its cool looks. Sony Vaio is a fashion statement. I fell in love with it the moment i saw. I personaly use another brand but always carry a wish that one day i will lay my hands on a Vaio. The configuration is ok for me. Higher memory of 3Gb to 4GB is always preferable. my personal pereferance is for 4GB Ram which is ideal for todays operating systems. 250Gb HDD is ideal for stuffing as much into it. 5Hrs battery run time is ...

Advantages: Excellent speed for a netbook Disadvantages: Still heats up the laptop in an hour
Lenovo recently entered the netbook market with the Ideapad S10. It uses the latest Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor used by the earlier-released netbooks, MSI Wind, Acer Aspire, and Asus Eee PC 901.
Compared to my Asus Eee 4G with an Intel Celeron 900 MHz, the speed and performance of the Intel Atom accelerated dramatically. The first time I turned it on, Windows start-up was approximately just under 30 seconds. I hadn't expected a netbook to be this ... ...fast as the Intel Core 2 Duo processor. But then again, for a gadget this small, it was satisfactory.
Lenovo's Intel Atom exceeded my expectations in terms of speed. Considering the $439 price tag, it is definitely good value for a portable laptop. If only it can perform without causing the laptop to heat up too much in a short time, it may spell doom for regular-sized laptops. ...
