With the Core 2 Duo processor speed 2.0 GHz and 1 Gigabyte memory, D830 very general impression. Dell XPS M1710
Review of Dell XPS M1710 by freedom422

Advantages: Great Graphics card, fast processor,
Disadvantages: battery doesn't last, program conflicts

I've had my Dell XPS for two years... I only use it for basic computer usage (internet access, writing documents, playing games, etc...). After installing some games on it I had to remove them because they stopped working. Some of the programs that came on the computer conflicted with the software. Memory was never an issue. Longer lasting Laptop
Review of Lenovo ThinkPad R400 7438 by Claude

Advantages: Cheaper and lasts longer
Disadvantages: nil

Thank you for wanting to buy this product. I just bought this exact same type of laptop for my sister and she really liked it. The Levno ThinkPad is one of a kind laptop, it has all widescreen and it does not even cost much to buy. If you are one of those people looking for a laptop that will last longer than just a couple of years, then why don't you think about buying the Levno ThinkPad. Tired of buying second hand laptops and throwing them away ... Read review
