With the big screen you will love going out on the internet. The whole design is really great! Rounded shapes and and a black toucpad, also rounded like the other deisgn.
The touchpad is pretty small and I would recommend you to buy a mouse instead of using the touchpad. On the right side of the touchpad you can scroll by dragging your finger up and down.
On the left side you got three USB-ports, ethernet port, electricity power, VGA and modem ... ...On the frontside you got headphone and microphone but also a cardreader. There is no FireWire ports here.
The wireless LAN is really good and does what it's supposed to do. There is also bluetooth in this computer and with my Vista there wasn't no problem to connect my mobile with it.
The battery is one of the best things, whole 4.5 hours! And it's true!

...join the fight. I'm sure HP will realise that it cant take its customers for granted. In India, the consumer laws are strict, but customers have this easy attitude abt not taking a company to court. Now we will see what happens
Please join ... write your problems on the board and make sure this customer wins. Soon we will have many customers flocking to the court and only then will the service quality of MNC's improve in India.

Advantages: Large and clear screen, high specs. Disadvantages: Little bit more heavy compare to other similar range product.
...standard looking and with standard HP logo in the middle. For the weight, I feel it really consider heavy weight notebook, especially when need to bring the notebook to meeting. Another finding is this model of notebook not suitable for hibernate mode, most of the time it will not able to resume but for other model, it is ok. Unofficial statistic from my colleague as out team do use different NC series notebook.
