Not one to take a salesman at his word, I decided to research the HP unit and compare specs with some of the other laptops I had been considering. Advantages: Lots of storage, high performance RAM and CPU. Disadvantages: Only trial version of Office 2007 and Norton.
...go wrong with it since Toshiba provides a bundled pack of programs you can use. However Microsoft Office 2007 Student Edition can be used only for 60 days for trial. Then must be purchased separately. It also includes a trial version of Symantec Norton Ghost 360 that is good for about the same time 60 days or 90 days.
