Nice Lappy
Review of Toshiba Satellite A305-S6857 by Rakeshnasa

Advantages: Fun oriented
Disadvantages: None

...Folks, This is my first Toshiba laptop.this The screen is sharp and clear with no glare. The keyboard is very comfortable and I love the smooth-surface touchpad...no room for grit and grime to settle in the edges. The battery life seems to be three hours plus! The only negative is getting rid of all the free/trial software Toshiba laptop is still in use! This one is fantastic! FOUR gig of RAM was a big plus, along with the webcam and the neat USB ... Longer lasting Laptop
Review of Lenovo ThinkPad R400 7438 by Claude

Advantages: Cheaper and lasts longer
Disadvantages: nil

Thank you for wanting to buy this product. I just bought this exact same type of laptop for my sister and she really liked it. The Levno ThinkPad is one of a kind laptop, it has all widescreen and it does not even cost much to buy. If you are one of those people looking for a laptop that will last longer than just a couple of years, then why don't you think about buying the Levno ThinkPad. Tired of buying second hand laptops and throwing them away ... Read review

Toshiba Toshiba Satellite L305-S5877
Review of Toshiba Satellite A305-S6857 by zantray

Advantages: many
Disadvantages: N/A

Pros: This is an excellent laptop for the price, it runs all of the staple programs very well - as expected with any modern notebook, this one just costs a lot less. Mozilla, Microsoft Office Student, Windows Media Player ... even only on 1GB of RAM to start. You should probably upgrade to 2GB or 3GB's like I will in the near future to get the most out of the system with Vista, but to be honest, you may even not need it. I would recommend this laptop ...
...price. It's amusing when students that have purchased laptops 2 or 3 times the price I paid ($449 CAD) look at you as if they want one for themselves: - Big Bright Glossy Screen - Excellent Battery Life: 3hrs & 45min on the maximum battery saving mode - Great Keyboard - Professional Style (It looks far better in person, with the screen blazing, than Toshiba's dull pictures - Trust Me On That One) - Price I am very satisfied with my machine & Toshiba's ... Apple MacBook Air Notebook Computer
Review of Apple MacBook Air - 1.8 GHz by zantray

Advantages: N/A
Disadvantages: N/A

The MacBook Air from Apple is thin. Really, really thin. In designing this ultraportable notebook Apple decided to sacrifice neither usability nor style. The laptop, which weighs only three pounds, is housed in a sleek aluminum shell. It features a full-sized notebook keyboard, complete with an ambient light sensor and backlit keys. The computer is designed to meet the needs of professionals who demand an ultraportable computer. The MacBook Air ...
...include an integrated optical drive. Apple offers a portable SuperDrive that can be connected and powered via the computer's USB 2.0 port for users who need a portable optical drive.
