I've had my Dell XPS for two years... I only use it for basic computer usage (internet access, writing documents, playing games, etc...). After installing some games on it I had to remove them because they stopped working. Some of the programs that came on the computer conflicted with the software. Memory was never an issue. The graphics card is excellent. I'm not sure about the video software, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Media player ... ...and a half hours when it is new, and that's with the LEDs turned off. I don't think they can make a battery that will keep up with the power output of this computer. Overall, for general use, it's a great computer. On the other hand, it is HEAVY. If you are going to bring it back and forth you'll need to get the backpack carrier instead of the regular transport computer bag... ...

This is my first Toshiba laptop.this
The screen is sharp and clear with no glare. The keyboard is very comfortable and I love the smooth-surface touchpad...no room for grit and grime to settle in the edges. The battery life seems to be three hours plus! The only negative is getting rid of all the free/trial software Toshiba laptop is still in use! This one is fantastic!
