Good mid-range Laptop.
Review of Lenovo 3000 N200 0769 by cvk_86

Advantages: Sturdy and Comfortable.
Disadvantages: Well angles of viewing.

Lenovo weighing 6-pounds is a consumer level laptop, mid-range. Not that expensive around $600. The keypad is similar to that of the Thinkpad keyboards, almost the same. Provides more room for touch pad and its scrolling features. There is something about this Laptop that comes only with business laptops, the finger print scanner. The Speakers of the Laptop are not that special. Do not provide impressive bass at all. Good enough for games and music ...
...and not to forget nVidia Ge Force Go 7300, 256 MB dedicated memory. This configuration is more than just enough for my kind of gaming. Light and average kind of gaming just for passing time and relaxing, I think this is enough for the graphics to be taken care of. Well the heat is controlled very well. The fan the otherwise irritating noise is slow. Speeds up only when temperature increases. The battery and power management can be tricky. It does ... Read review

Downgrade it to heaven.
Review of Acer Aspire 5315-2077 by simster001

Advantages: Its a working laptop, made for really light use. Kids maybe?
Disadvantages: Vista, hard drive space, low rate specs.

...did it show. My Acer came packaged with Vista Home Basic, 1 gig of ram, and an intel Celeron processor. The box said this was Made for Vista. That statement pure crap. Vista an a giant eye candy machine, made to show off flashy lights and neat effects, which is wear this specific laptop slowly gargles and dies. Vista uses 75 percent of your ram in order to maintain its pretty-ness, even with special effects turned down to a minimum. The processor ...
...of death more times then I can remember. There is, however a savior for this machine. Windows XP. Upon searching the vast ends of the internet with the godly search engine, google, I managed to find a guide which provided me with everything I needed in order to 'downgrade' or in my case upgrade to XP. Now I love this laptop, it keeps up with everything I want to do with it, minus the small hardrive space (80 gigs) and I never have a problem with ... Read review

slim, speedy with super clear graphics
Review of HP Compaq Business Notebook 6720s by shibainudogpersn

Advantages: weight, dimensions and comfortable keyboard
Disadvantages: short battery life, poor internal speakers

HP Compaq Business Notebook 6720s This is only my second lappie and the first for some years and I have been delighted with its slim profile, excellent quality screen (videos, YouTube and pictures appear very realistic) and the speed with which it recharges. I love the HP brand and having looked at other makes I came back to my first choice as I know the customer support available is excellent and I have never been disappointed with an HP product. ...
...bigger one can be bought and as there are three power settings that you can choose you can decide how to utilise the available power. The memory is ample for pretty much all ones needs although it has come pre-loaded with several programs I am probably not going to need, so the boot-up time is a little longer than I anticipated. The internal speakers leave a bit to be desired as anything above a low sound becomes fuzzy, but you can plug in a headset ... Read review

Dell Inspiron 1525
Review of Dell Inspiron 1525 by Ks21cowgirl

Advantages: Nice to be able to take your cool looking laptop on the go.
Disadvantages: Wish the batter would last longer then it does

I bought this Dell laptop for school. I really injoy my laptop. It is really all I thought it to be, but I don't like that it didn't come with a better user guide book. The book it came with doesn't really help you out in some area. As far as the laptop it self, it is great, I feel that for a school laptop this one was the best choice I could have found. I am greatful for the customer service at Best Buy were I got the laptop for pointing this one ... Read review
