I have recently bought i Macbook. I was worried about the new operating system. I got my mac and was excited about the awsome speed and never having to worry about viruses anymore. But, most programs and softwares don't work on the macbook. I dislike the fact that the mac cannot run many programs. But, i like the fact that the programs that do work with the mac work speedily and great. The mac rarely gets viruses and has an awsome start up speed. ...

Advantages: cool design, good system Disadvantages: mostly you have to buy new Hardware
...I had to buy an Apple for school. It was quite difficult to get into the new system, by the way I have to say, that its really complicated for me to get into a completely new software anyway. But after I learned to use apple I was happy with the system.
Its really sad, that my MacBook dont have a DVD wiriting opportunity and no Video Cable Plug. And I had to buy new MBram, because it would have been to slow for my work in Photoshop, ect.

From Windows PC to Apple iBook G3 Tiger to Apple Macbook Leopard. I'm still in love with Mac. Mac's OS is more dependable than Windows. There's this saying that "once you go Mac, you'll never go back!" and that's true for me. I never wanted to go back to using Windows.
What's great about Apple Macbooks are the fact that they work straight out of the box. No hassles. You can instantly browse the net, tinker with the features and just enjoy it. It's ... ...information by clicking on the Apple logo, you get details, software update, system preferences, etc. Your desktop is more organized because of the dock, you can secure your laptop by adding password when you logout or after screensaver. If you're used to MS Office, you could still install one and it would work just fine. There's also Photo Booth, iPhoto, iMail, iCal, Garage Band etc., you watch and burn DVD's (if you have superdrive)
