Advantages: Sturdy and Comfortable. Disadvantages: Well angles of viewing.
Lenovo weighing 6-pounds is a consumer level laptop, mid-range. Not that expensive around $600. The keypad is similar to that of the Thinkpad keyboards, almost the same. Provides more room for touch pad and its scrolling features. There is something about this Laptop that comes only with business laptops, the finger print scanner. The Speakers of the Laptop are not that special. Do not provide impressive bass at all. Good enough for games and music ... ...and not to forget nVidia Ge Force Go 7300, 256 MB dedicated memory. This configuration is more than just enough for my kind of gaming. Light and average kind of gaming just for passing time and relaxing, I think this is enough for the graphics to be taken care of.
Well the heat is controlled very well. The fan the otherwise irritating noise is slow. Speeds up only when temperature increases. The battery and power management can be tricky. It does ...

HP Compaq Business Notebook 6720s
This is only my second lappie and the first for some years and I have been delighted with its slim profile, excellent quality screen (videos, YouTube and pictures appear very realistic) and the speed with which it recharges. I love the HP brand and having looked at other makes I came back to my first choice as I know the customer support available is excellent and I have never been disappointed with an HP product.
... ...bigger one can be bought and as there are three power settings that you can choose you can decide how to utilise the available power. The memory is ample for pretty much all ones needs although it has come pre-loaded with several programs I am probably not going to need, so the boot-up time is a little longer than I anticipated.

I have been using the Acer Extensa 4630 since November 2007 and it has served me well. What I enjoy most about this laptop is the keypad which is soft and comfortable to type. I type a lot on the computer for my work and thus I need to have a laptop with buttons that reposnd to a soft touch. I also love the 14.1 inch wide screen. It can support Windows Vista as well. Once fully charged, you can use the laptop for the next two hours. Apparently, Acer ... ...SOHO users. It is simple to operate and slick in design. I also love it in-built WIFI connectivity. I chose to buy this laptop because it was one of the cheaper ones in the market, which still has quite good specifications. There is probably just one setback. Its performance may not be fantastic. I do experience a little slow when starting up and take about two minutes for my desktop to fully load up. Other than that, it is performing well for me. ...
