Advantages: Good performance, features and design...
Disadvantages: Not for Hardcore Gamers..

...performance and comfort. Welcome the HP Compaq 6910p. A striking feature is the touch sensitive panel on top of the keyboard that allows you to control the volume level, launch HP's Wireless Assistant and Info Center. The laptop also features standard connectivity options such as Blue tooth, WI-Fi, IR, and Fire Wire. There are three USB ports and an SD and MMC card reader. The fingerprint scanner acts as an additional security measure. Windows ...
...of the resource-hungry Aero interface. Keeping this in mind, Windows XP is bound to fly without many glitches on this laptop. However, running high-end games or other heavy applications on this laptop wouldn't be a good idea. We tested it with synthetic and real-world benchmarks such as PCMark 2005, SiSoft Sandra XI and CPU-intensive fle compression tests. Looking at the scores, you'll notice that this laptop isn't meant for highly intensive processing, ... Read review

ThinkPad X60
Review of Lenovo ThinkPad X60 by samzhang

Advantages: Lightweight, very fast Duo core processor, classic "Black" appearance
Disadvantages: no built-in CD/DVD, too close USB slots

A glance at ThinkPad X60, you will be attracted by its classic "Black" design (in contrast to the "WHITE" color of Apple MacBook). Maybe somebody thinks the pure "BLACK" color is too dull, but it actually looks quite elegant. The top surface feels so "soft" rather than "smooth" (any chance, please try to feel it). X60 is absolutely light weight and is travel friendly since its weight is reported about ~1.43Kg (including the 4-cell battery). I also ...
...is only about 1.1Kg. It is much lighter than other competitive laptops. While, the main drawback of the design is that the USB slots are too close. It is quite inconvenient if two USB devices are to be used at the same time. Sometimes, you also may feel some trouble if you want to read or burn some CDs or DVDs since X60 has no built-in CD/DVD. Anyway, every bean has it black. For X60, it should gain a grade of 9/10!!! Great!. ... Read review
