...switched to it from a LG VX8300 back in June 2008. I like its sleek design and its features. Its look is very stylish, but it can't compete with the iPhone and Blackberry, of course. Okay phone, but go with the vx8700

Advantages: Good photos, looks decent
Disadvantages: Scratches up, terrible speaker

Terrible phone. The people at the verizon wireless store told me that this was an upgrade over the 8600. I actually bought the 8600 and used it for 25 days, and then swapped it for free and used the 8700. I should have stuck with the 8600. The 8700 is made with metal, so what??? It's a joke how much metal there actually is. Most of the phone is just plastic like all other phones. Sure it takes 2.0 mega pixel photos, but the 8600 and almost all other ... Read review
