When I got it home, I was impressed that it didn't weigh alot and I could easily unload it from my car. The installation of this TV was fool-proof and I had it hooked up in minutes. Once I was plugged into the TV world, I was dissapointed in the picture quality. The colors weren't even that realistic. I read through the owner's manual and had all the settings ... ...TV would be great for a child or a teenager that doesn't pay much attention to picture quality, but as an adult, I'd rather end up pay a hundred dollars more for a Visio or Sony. Advantages: Great Picture Quality, Nice Speakers, Good Price Disadvantages: The Remote Isn't Ideal
...saved up and bought the Sony KDL046V4100. I bought it for two reasons. One, I trust Sony electronics. Two, I got a really good deal on Ebay. I ended up paying 1300 for it brand new.
Upon setting the TV up in my room, I fired it up and the first show I watched on it was the movie Road Trip. I was impressed by the clarity of the picture and by the fact that I wasn't seeing any glares from the sunlight poking through my window. After figuring out all ... ...I then found out I didn't need to put speakers in my room. The stock speakers on this TV were pretty nice. They were loud, clear, and had decent bass. That was all I needed out of a bedroom TV.
I watched Blu Ray movies on this TV and am completely satisfied. The remote that comes with the TV is not very nice, so a new remote down the line is a very good idea. Overall, this TV is worth what they charge for it and I have had no problems in the 2 months ...

Advantages: Small size fits anywhere Disadvantages: Problems with the graphics
I purchased this Dynex DXLCD19-09 in February of 2008. It had connectors on the side of the panel for video games, speakers, etc. It worked fine for about a month, then white diagonal lines began to run up the screen. This was more pronounced when video game consoles were connected. Needess to say it was very noticable during gameplay. I exchanged it for another and got the same result after 3 months of use. What bothered me the most is the TV worked ... ...home is not newly wired, and that may be the reason of the interferance, then again, I did read about it in a trouble shooting forum and many of them were having major issues after the warranty expired. I just got this TV and am very happy with it so far. It is a big upgrade for me and I would suggest anyone still with an old style tube tv to upgrade. This is a 40 inch and is just the right size. I would be careful not get one that is too big because it will look awkward and out of place in your room. The picture quality is much improved or my previous television and when I get my HD subscription going I am sure it will be even better. The tv comes ...
