Very recently, Sony has released their new Bravia line of Televisions for this year. Exciting for someone who loves watching movies, television and playing games on a high quality tv. As thrilled as I may have been - Sony seems to always amaze me with their televisions - I had just purchased a Sony LCD 6 months ago so no new television for me. The XBR series of the Bravia line of televisions by Sony is definately some of the most elite of Sony's.
... ...is also the cheapest. Sony hasn't released prices yet - so who knows what that could be. The model I purchased 6 months ago was 8 months old at the time, was under sales promotion and the seller made a mistake and sold it for much less than they were supposed to - yet I still paid close to $1800. Some of you out there may find this affordable, but I disagree. I still love the television though and believe it was worth every penny.

...always had good luck with Toshiba products in the past, and they have always been known for their excellent quality products. Upon receiving the package, I wrapped it up and gave it as a gift without testing it out first. I was nervous that it wouldn't be what I was hoping for. After the package was opened and the TV was setup, we were very pleased with this television. The picture quality is awesome! The only complaint I have is that it takes several seconds to switch from channel to channel. The speakers could be better as well. I have had this TV for 6 months and I can say this is a great LCD! I have been using this as my primary computer monitor and as our living room tv so its gets lots of use. Pros:
- The picture is amazing, This TV blows my old computer monitor out of the water. The clarity is great. Black levels are great. no shadows or trails behind the action.
- Plenty of inputs. I have the European version so I think one of my HDMI inputs is a SCART input. But ... ...camera, and other random electronics hooked up. It is super easy to access the inputs and very easy to switch between them.
Cons:
- The speakers are horrible. My 15€ computer speakers (2.1) are steps above these. Do yourself a favor and buy a cheap home theater system with this.
- The mirror finish constantly needs cleaning. I thought this would look great but every day I need to clean it. They did include a cloth but after a month I had to throw ...
