Sony is probably the best when it comes to electronics. You have my word on that.
Now I'll go along with my experiences with the Sony Bravia. I have a Rogers HD Box which I am renting for a company called Rogers. I pay around $30 a month for a bit more than 100 channels. Not all of them are HD though! That's why ticks me off the most. It's not the TV's fault but the company that looks after your TV broadcast. In my experience I have had nothing bad happen to this TV. It's pretty thin and works great. Sound Quality is through the roof along with picture quality.
