I just got this TV and am very happy with it so far. It is a big upgrade for me and I would suggest anyone still with an old style tube tv to upgrade. This is a 40 inch and is just the right size. I would be careful not get one that is too big because it will look awkward and out of place in your room. My daughter freinds parents bought this kind of tv and it is cool. It is nice and big but the remote could be better than what it is. It does not take long to install at all and is very nice. ...of my additional equipment, the Samsung gives you the ability to label your equipment within the setup, so that when your going through the settings looking to change things, you know exactly which device you are changing settings for. ...saved up and bought the Sony KDL046V4100. I bought it for two reasons. One, I trust Sony electronics. Two, I got a really good deal on Ebay. I ended up paying 1300 for it brand new. Upon setting the TV up in my room, I fired it up and the first show I watched on it was the movie Road Trip. ...I then found out I didn't need to put speakers in my room. The stock speakers on this TV were pretty nice. They were loud, clear, and had decent bass. That was all I needed out of a bedroom TV. I watched Blu Ray movies on this TV and am completely satisfied. The remote that comes with the TV is not very nice, so a new remote down the line is a very good idea.
