Dynex LCD TV - One headache after another
Review of Dynex DX-LCD32 by tamdesigns

Advantages: nice picture while it lasted
Disadvantages: didn't last a year

...ago. In the beginning the Dynex LCD TV was great. The picture was exactly what we expected and we enjoyed watching our favorite programs on it. But within just a few short months after we purchased the product it began to have a black box appear on the screen with mumbled writing in it. Approximately a month following the black boxes appearing the television quit completely. We purchased the warranty on the product but getting someone to actually ...
...less than successful. For less than $1,000 I didn't expect an exceptional television. However I did expect it to last at least three or four years. I would not recommend purchasing this television unless you purchase the warranty and are willing to stay on top of customer service if the television should happen to give out. ... Read review

Dynex LCD t.v.
Review of Dynex DX-LCD37-09 by AshleyBurger

Advantages: Good picture for the price, positon of the controls
Disadvantages: dead pixels right out of box, delay

My boyfriend bought this t.v. in the December, if memory serves me right, of last year. We had issues in the beginning with dead pixels, and brought the t.v. back several times because of this. Best Buy was gracious about the matter though, and replaced the t.v. each time no questions asked. About the third time we brought it back we stopped experiencing problems with dead and stuck pixels. The t.v. provides an excellent picture quality for it's ...
...also like the position of the controls on the side of the screen, rather than on the bottom or top or behind the screen. The only thing I do not particularly like is its delay to turn on, or off. It takes about 20 seconds to turn on, while you wait and watch the blinking orange light. ... Read review

Toshiba REGZA 32RV530U
Review of Toshiba REGZA 32RV530U by agustien

Advantages: TheaterWide Modes
Disadvantages: all good

...trendy and cheap looking. But Toshiba made it look good! It's nowhere near as shiny as I thought it would be. Now for the picture. It arrived with the picture set to "Sports" mode. This was too bright and over saturated for my taste. I switched to "Standard" mode and the colors are richer without being overly warm or loosing crispness. The set has a picture mode for "Movies" as well, and it really does give the display a movie-theateresque character. ... Read review

Toshiba REGZA 52RV530U
Review of Toshiba REGZA 52RV530U by agusnirwan

Advantages: does not blur with speed ie football game etc
Disadvantages: Colors are not bright

I bought this to replace one of the Samsung 40"ers I won playing poker (long story). I wanted BIGGER than the 40 and caught this at a good price .Bigger is better, much deeper and richer blacks, does not blur with speed ie football game etc, better viewing angle, better anti glare, auto channel scan picks up much more channels and much faster, auto channel scan auto tunes both cable, digital and analog tv signals and locked them in with 1 sweep, ...
...pic size adjustments, 4 hdmi inputs, remote passthru but Colors are not bright. Sound system mediocre even with SRS wow, eq and enhancements (I use a very hi end audio system for movies anyway) remote kinda clutery and not friendly and range not good, deep menu and manual also clutery and somewhat unfriendly, fixed stand does not swival, only 1 cable/antenna input, so it is not possible to hookup both a Cable line and an (hdtv) antenna, 1 side input ...
