Advantages: Nice colors, anti-glare screen, an amazing monitor! Disadvantages: NONE!
LOVE LOVE LOVE my 22" Dell monitor. I've had this monitor for a little over a year and I just love it! I use it for gaming, photoshopping and everything else. I am amazed by the quality of this monitor. The vibrancy and colors are so true to life (you practically forget it's a monitor). It's got a nice screen that is non reflective. The window is behind the monitor and it does not reflect. It's pretty fast for game play. I have played World of Warcraft ... ...it to be great with photediting too. The monitor is even better paired with an excellent video card. My husband loved my monitor so much he got the Dell 24" and that one is even more amazing (higher contrast ratio). We love Dell monitors and so glad we got these!!! ...

Advantages: Bright, Easy to Use, USB Ports, Clear, Swivel, Multi Inputs Disadvantages: Expensive, Addicitve
...quite a long time, though Dell have recently released a 24" monitor that doesn't swivel or have all the inputs this does - but if you had to decided between the cheaper model and this one, this would be the way to go. This monitor easily switched between VGA, DVI, S-VIDEO, Component and Composite, which means you can plug-in several devices at once e.g. two computers, DVD/Blu-Ray Player or TV Tuner, Xbox 360 etc. There are also powered USB ports ... ...speaker you can buy from Dell which attached to the bottom of the screen and plugs directly into the monitor - I bought one of these, but rarely use it as it is not very loud.
You can swivel this monitor right around to a 90 degree angle, which I am currently using - this makes scrolling through text much easier.
I personally find that the 24" is much brighter than the 30" Dell Monitor, and also has better colour continuity. If you are a gamer, ...

This monitor has a bright display and a clear picture. I was able to watch movies on my PC, and feel like I was watching them in a theater. Eight buttons lie along the bottom edge of the screen.. completely unobtrusive, so that you can adjust brightness, contrast, aspect ratios.. all without having to flip though 100 or so different items to get to what you want. The open base and flat screen allows you to fit the monitor into much smaller areas, ...

Advantages: picture, light, doesn't take much room Disadvantages: no
I had a friend that bought one of these a couple of months ago and it is very cool. It shows the pictures really nice and clear. It is like every thing is picture perfect. It is so easy to use and not hard to hook up to your computer. The design is just simple looking and nice and flat. Which is a plus to have because it doesn't take up a lot of extra room. She has not had any problems out of it since the purchase dat and she uses it daily. Actually ...

Advantages: Clear screen, small footprint, pretty looking, inexpensive Disadvantages: No volume control, sound quality poor, not amazing video quality
...they gave me is the Asus MM17T with stereo speakers, and this is what I think of it. This is a 17" video monitor which has "splendid" technology that apparently makes the output optimal for the human eye. Good thing that, since the eyes I have are mostly human (I say "mostly" since I wear contact lenses). I have to admit that this seems to work since the screen looks clear and does have far sharper images than my old one. Setting it up was a breeze. ... ...and it started working right away. One thing they did need to make sure of was that the wire for the internal speakers was plugged in properly. I know I would have put it into the wrong place, but since there are limited spots to plug the speakers into, a simple trial-and-error test would have sufficed. Speaking of the speakers, you should know that the volume can only be controlled through the computer's audio setup. This is a bit of a problem since ...
