Advantages: very clear, amazing graphics, easy to control brightness/contrast ect. Disadvantages: it may not be well worth the price.
Like all the apple product, this product, the Apple Cinema HD Display , shines and is simply brilliant. WIth a diagonal size of 23 inches, it is not so big that you'll have a headache as to where you can put it, but it's not so small you can't even see a page properly. The screen is extremely clear (chromatic colors) and it doesn't tire out your eyes. The screen has a 1920x1200 pixels resolution (16.7 colors) and very flexible viewing angles. All ... ...alot of electricity power, but Apple Cinema HD Display doesn't. For a screen so bright and big, it only uses around 80 watts and in standby, it uses 3 watt.
Last, the price. I'll have to admit, like with most apple products, the price is high. You probably CAN get a screen just as good for lower, but you won't be disspointed by this screen. I won't say I highly recommend it, but if you're looking for a durable, good quality screen, you got one here. ...

I love this screen, it is the perfect size for those of us who have small or limited desk spaces. Also, the fact that it is a smooth screen and does not protrude out, like the older screens would is a plus. My cat used to lay on top of my older screen and get cat hairs everywhere, not good. I have had no problems with it, but the fingerprints, . It has a round base and it is not floopy or flimsy like other flat screens. There is less chance of it become unattached. It would take an "act of God" to get me to go back to bulky, wide screens, now. ...

Advantages: Looks Sleek, Works Very Well, Saves Space Disadvantages: I found none
I just upgraded my PC with a new Samsung SyncMaster 740N Flat screen monitor. I was using a good old CRT monitor and this is my first LCD display!
Its a good 17 inches entry level LCD monitor which I found comfortably within my budget. I work on designs & animations. I needed a screen which would display good colors. This has got a 600:1 contrast ratio with 8ms response time which removes blurring from movies.
Unlike some other LCDs, ... ...colors and distort the look and feel for my designs. This LCD monitor also has 'on screen' settings for fine tuning it to your needs with little feather touch buttons at the bottom of the screen.
SyncMaster has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels which gives me a huge work area avoiding a lot of horizontal and vertical scroll, and yes, it saves a lot of space too!
I recommend this LCD. A Great Buy! ...
