The Lenovo ThinkVision L171p isn't the greatest monitor I've seen. It's not horrible, but it's not that great, either. Text often appears blurry, and color distinction is just simply.. Not as good as it could be. I've seen much better. Editting pictures using this monitor is quite tricky, even with an advanced user as myself, as the graphics are dull, and almost smudgy. The Acer AL1516 is a great 15" LCd monitor.I have been using it for a year now,no complaints so far.. everyone has a mindset about LCds that they wont work good at lower resolutions but this one works fine a t 800*600 as well but the native resolution is 1024*768.
