I purchased this monitor around three months ago when building a new rig. This by far the best monitor I have actually ever used. It has superb picture quality especially when set to its native resolution (highest resolution) of 1680 x 1050 which I believe is the highest resolution available for a 20" monitor. The monitor itself is beautiful and looks very sleek with a glossy black boarder. The monitor has a alleged 2ms response time (time for a ... ...find this hard to believe seeing as all other similar competing monitor are nowhere near as quick. Having said that, there is absolutely no ghosting what so ever when playing game, even when playing intensive games such as Crisis and Gears of War. Over all this is an excellent monitor and is worth the extra cash.

Advantages: big monitor Disadvantages: button menu hidden
...at home he bought this Samsung monitor. He said it was a bit expensive than other brands but he thinks that its performance is better. Now to compare it with other monitor with the same specification as it have will be biased. I have never tried any LCD monitor before. I will just have to say my experience with Samsung SyncMaster 2232GW.

...horrible headache!!! But i rang samsung and they shipped me another one straight away, apparently it was just a manufacturing fault!!! My new one had a crystal clear display and i never had problems with it! It showed DVD's very well and every page was shown correctly!!! No need to install anything because as with most monitors... all you have to do is plug them in!!! Samsung have definitely produced a great TFT monitor here for anyone and everyone! ...

I bought a LCD Monitor LG type L177WSB 17 inche, not different with LG W2242TQ-BF type. The first time I interest with design and color when it display on computer shop in my country.
You not only can choose wide screen on big inche but you can get the feature in small inche, you know LG have LCD monitor series from 15 inche to 30 inche wide screen, so you can get what type you want.
