Ok, I bought this LCD monitor because it is cheap and I though that ViewSonice is an established brand of computer monitor.
But I'm not pleased with this product because of the following reasons:
1. Colors are not accurate. Not good when designing graphics or editing pictures in photoshop.
2. For some reason, I don't feel I'm using an LCD monitor because it has some glare (like when you're using CRT).
3. View angle is too narrow. If you turn ... ...little, colors and brightness will change instantly. Sometimes, it's impossible to be always perfectly parallel to the screen.
4. You can't view the monitor decently for more than 5 feet. Not recommended for watching movies.
5. I'm not a fan of shiny interface.

I bought a LCD Monitor LG type L177WSB 17 inche, not different with LG W2242TQ-BF type. The first time I interest with design and color when it display on computer shop in my country.
You not only can choose wide screen on big inche but you can get the feature in small inche, you know LG have LCD monitor series from 15 inche to 30 inche wide screen, so you can get what type you want.
For your information, I have small room in my house, so I need ... ...With Black color and very slim, now I can work in my room like use Notebook screen and also my eye not tired if look into display for long time.
