Moniter of the Year!
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 920NW by BiteDownHard

Advantages: Quaility, Easy to use, plasma screen, very thin
Disadvantages: cord is kinda short

...and since this is a samsung it is even better. The color on this screen is just unbelivable. You can change it to your likings with the small little buttons on the front. It is very easy to use and install. The screen is very unique and can fit inside a menella folder. Since I am a clutts when it comes to everything I can honestly tell you that I have dropped this moniter on the floor when trying to hook it up and it didn't leave a scratch. This ... Read review

Brilliant and beautiful monitor
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 206BW by tomby.tester

Advantages: Amazing clarity, very sleek in appearance
Disadvantages: None

I purchased this monitor around three months ago when building a new rig. This by far the best monitor I have actually ever used. It has superb picture quality especially when set to its native resolution (highest resolution) of 1680 x 1050 which I believe is the highest resolution available for a 20" monitor. The monitor itself is beautiful and looks very sleek with a glossy black boarder. The monitor has a alleged 2ms response time (time for a ...
...find this hard to believe seeing as all other similar competing monitor are nowhere near as quick. Having said that, there is absolutely no ghosting what so ever when playing game, even when playing intensive games such as Crisis and Gears of War. Over all this is an excellent monitor and is worth the extra cash. Monitor is both DVI and VGA compatible (analogue and digital) ... Read review

Good brand, not expensive
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 940N by rustimous

Advantages: Good material.
Disadvantages: None.

...375 dollars at that time. Samsung is a brand I trust in. I'm very satisfied with this material. The image quality is totally satisfying, very sharp. The screen is large (the diagonale: 19''), so you can show a lot of texts and pictures at the same time. Very easy to use. The screen is reliable: I've already touched or dirtyied it, and it has leaved no mark. Perfect ! The design is styled : very sober, easy to match with your other devices. Mine ... Read review

Nice Dell monitor
Review of Dell E173FP by greekmiss

Advantages: crips clear picture
Disadvantages: I think it takes up a lot of energy

I have been using this monitor at work for over a year now and the picture quality is crisp and bright. When you're using a monitor you definitely want these two qualities. It is easy to view pictures at true colors, you can read both large and fine print without strain to your eyes and you can have multiple pages open on your monitor without any issues. There are 4 buttons in the front of the monitor, one is the power and the other 3 are setting ...
...came with a power cable and a serial cable (monitor cable with blue ends). The monitor has it's own stand and takes up about 4-5 inches in depth! Much improvement from the huge clunky monitors of old! It's 17 inches in diameter which these days is OK. People who work on spreadsheets, databases and design software such as Photoshop would benefit from a 19 or 21 inch monitor which was widescreen - of course that is completey my opinion! :) The monitor ... Sync Your Teeth Into This Master Monitor
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 710 TM by anonymili

Advantages: Excellent response time and clear screen
Disadvantages: Somewhat costly at the $600+ region

I used the Samsung SyncMaster 710TM at work now for over a year in an office where we had 7 or 8 of the same model used by staff and clients alike. I always found them to be reliable and with clear resolutions. No complaints whatsoever on any of them so far! The M of TM in the product name stands for multimedia - this monitor has a built in speaker, although the sound quality is nothing to write home about - it's rather tinny, so don't rely just ...
...mark. All in all the Samsung SyncMaster 710TM gets big thumbs up for usability and slight thumbs down for cost. TECHNICAL STUFF (best to ignore this if you're not interested in the dimensions, etc) * The Samsung SyncMaster 710TM is a 17" TFT active matrix monitor. * The brightness is up to 300 cd/mē, dot pitch is 0.26mm and contrast ration is 600:1. * It supports 24-bit (16.7M) colours and is PC or MAC compatible. * The maximum viewing ...
