It has several advantages which include its ability to pivot up and down - quite important for both the tall and vertically challenged amongst us. ...sitting directly opposite - the advantages of a modern flat screen monitor (much better than having to turn it around to show the display to each individual and thus over time, no doubt weakening the cables that have to turn with it).
