Living in a home where people love bread and hot bread and bread and anything bread, well, it is but natural that a toaster oven should be on the counter top. My family loves to eat hot bread, and with 5 of us adults in the house, a slice of bread is not enough. It is good that this Krups Toaster Oven can accommodate up to 6 slices of bread (well, I sometimes place 8) so that a lot can be toasted at the same time.
Because bread scatters a lot of crumbs, I find that the detachable crumb tray is essential and quite easy to clean out. Convection cooking is the primary way of heating the bread. I actually like this because I like my bread to be crunchy from the edges to the center - not just at the corners.
Of course, there is a bake tray that can accommodate the bread. I also use the toaster oven to heat left over piece meals such as fried chicken/pork. I can even heat the chicken from the fridge as there is a defrost function, too - now that is very handy, indeed.
It is very easy to use and easy to clean - quite ideal to a busy work person like me.
