...Some interesting facts: the Koss Portario headphones were first introduced in 1984. Over the years the company preserved their original design but improved their performance.
I have been using the koss products for years now, mainly buying it from koss.com as sometimes it is difficult to find them in the shops. Once I got a pair of headphones on ebay but was disappointed as it said that they were brand new but they obviously weren`t.

...I like my music readily available. That's why, despite owning a laptop, I really love this product.
I think it is perhaps aimed at a variety of different people. Joggers, kids getting their first MP3 player, or indeed anyone who wants a portable solution for their music.
I own both Grado SR225 and KOSS Portapros. I find that the KOSSheadphones are more suitable for portable use, so this review is based on when using them. (I didn't bother with the supplied ones).
Upon plugging my headphones in, I found that the headphone jack very secure, which is good for longevity. Then I started listening and was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. That fun, lively Creative signature sound that I have been used to with with Creative Zen Vision:M is here in spades.

...Originally had the koss 'the plug' headphones and was very happy with their saound and bass. after a while i needed a replacement and thought i would get this newer version.
one thing that did annoy me with the old and this new version is the wire gets tangled very easily and is very flimsy when compared to a pair of sony headphones.
i have found that these headphones do not fit as well as the previous version did. hopefully this will change over time. although saying this, they do not fall out which is a good.
i paid £6 for these on ebay and cannot complain. i prefer these to the £30 sony headphones as they provide more bass, stay in my ear better and for the price they are a top pair of heaphones....
