Through a process called pixel interpolation, you'll get the data needed for prints larger than A3-size (297 mm x 420 mm / 11.7 inches x 16.5 inches, 150dpi). And whatever the image size, Minolta expertise ensures sharp, clear colors. Thanks to a wide 12x zoom range, you can frame your shots as you like with a variety of scenes. 3x optical zoom brings a far-off subject within reach, and when that's not enough 4x digital zoom puts you even closer. The macro setting is great for shooting small subjects, such as flowers or miniatures. It creates the type of shot where your subject stands out in sharp detail against a soft, unfocused background. Superb shots without a fuss are what the DiMAGE E323 delivers. When you're ready to shoot, it handles various factors for you. ...I purchased this camera in decemner 2003 from digitalfirst.co.uk . I use it as my main camera now ..for taking familly photos etc. It was very easy to use and setup with my PC and having printed out some prints with my photo printer i can definitely say that the quality is excellent. I spent some time checking the internet for spec on similar cameras and decided that I would as a bare minimum need at least a 3.0 megapixel resolution . I also decided that an optical zoom would be necessary ... This camera has a 3X optical zoom which means that you can eaisly zoom in on family groups without losing quality ... it also has a 4X digial zoom offering added zoom features for big events where you may not exactly need the detail but want to get closer . The batteries used are AA and i purcahse some 1800mAH capacity re-charagable andcharger... Read review

...Having used digital cameras in the course of my job, it was time to bite the bullet and get one of my own. I researched all the relevant specs and decided to plump for the Minolta. A well known and respected brand. I was not disappointed. I wanted a camera with a decent zoom, excellent resolution and something that could fit easily in my handbag! This fulfils all 3 wishes - and a bit more. It comes with a memory card which allows you to take over 100 pics on low resolution - i would suggest you only use this outside! The higher resolution gives fantastic shots and the menu options are dead easy to use. It pretty much tells you what to do! There are 2 self timer options which is handy if you have to move a small distance and the viewfinder and red eye reduction are both useful features.... Read review

...A fantastic digital camera capable of producing 3.2 mega pixel images, perfect for any sized prints and high resolution pictures. The camera has a 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom perfect for any type of shot without disppanning. I recently took this camera to New York on a school Arts trip; I got some excellent pictures of the city at night by using the night mode which makes the camera more sensitive to decreased amounts of light, I also managed to get some great pictures in the day time the optical zoom really helped when a piece of scenery is too far away. When visiting New York me and a couple of friends came across some street dancers the E323 camera comes with a built in movie mode so I managed too get a 4 minute video of the dancer’s routine which is of good quality.
