Based on the Kofax Adrenaline image processing accelerator, this low-cost solution boosts scanner performance to near rated speeds by offloading all scanning functions and an array of advanced image-processing functions to a dedicated board. The KF-4100 can increase scanning speeds by as much as 100% and also provide rated-speed support for bar code recognition, patch code detection, image deskew, forms recognition and more. The KF-4100 includes a Kofax Adrenaline 1700v or 850v hardware accelerator (depending on your scanning volume) and special software for a seamless interface with your IBM system.
