Advantages: Excellent picture quality, 10X zoom impressive detail
Disadvantages: 16mb built-in memory, bulky, night mode not the best

This Digicam is one of the best out there in terms of picture clarity and quality. Though this has been in the market for 3 years now, it still beats some of the latest ones. Best feature of this camera for me is its 10X zoom. Initially, I bought it for my ebay business selling small items that I need to get good picture of. Advantages: Ease of use and variety of ways to store and print pictures
Disadvantages: Bulky size, not easy to fit in your purse or carry around

...I purchased this camera two years ago before the birth of our first grandchild with the intention of capturing his every move! And this Kodak Easyshare camera made it so easy. The options for printing and storing your photos are plentiful as you can print from the printer dock, from your own printer, order prints online at kodakgallery.com, and even email your pictures to friends and family. You can use the Kodak Easyshare software to store your prints and create albums, store the pictures on your computer, or on a disk. One of the features we really enjoy is the video. I use it to take short - under one minute - videos to email to our son who lives in Seattle. It's a fun way for him to keep up with his nieces and nephews - we now have four grandchildren - and watch them grow. I have also used this camera to take beautiful close up... Read review

Advantages: 10X optical zoom, lots of features
Disadvantages: bulky size

...I purchsed the Kodak Easyshare Z740 about 2 years ago. I have been using it exclusively for taking photos ever since. I am very happy with the quality of the photos that it takes. It has several options for taking photos including close ups, children in motion, bright lights such as at christmas time and decorations, text and an array of others. It is simple to take basic photos but has more advanced options for amature photographers, such as adjusting the apeture as well as the ability to add different lenses. The big bonus feature for this digital camera has to be the 10X optical zoom. I have seen only a couple of models that offer this much optical zoom for a digital camera especially in this price range.
