Advantages Easy to use, big display screen

...I was looking to buy a digital camera to take on my honeymoon, I wanted a reasonable priced camera with high mega-pixels. I left it quite late getting the camera so i was limited in choice for what was available. The Kodak EasyShare C663 was the cheapest one available with 6.0 mega-pixels. I was impressed with how easy the camera was to use. I didn't even have to read the instructions and i was taking pictures and editing them with the built in edit feature within minutes of getting it out of the box. I was also impressed with the fact that you can change how many mega pixels are used for each photo. I have a 256mb memory card which will store 88 photo's at 6.0mp, the lowest setting of 1.1 mp allows it to store 391 pictures. This came in handy as when memory space was running out i just selected a lower mega-pixel setting... Read review

...I'm 15, and in the past I have always used my mums camera when I've wanted it. Well, this summer I went on holiday with my dad to Cornwall. I decided to invest in a camera of my own. After several hours of leaflet delivering (Phew.. well worth it though) I had saved up £100. I used eBay to search for a suitable camera. Unfortunately I left it quite late, and this narrowed down my options. I found a few that I was interested in, but the Kodak EasyShare C663 was the only one that I would recieve before I left. I found it listed in the Argos catalogue for £180, well above my budget, but only £100 on eBay. After reviewing its specifications, I decided to buy, and, after some confusion with the delivery, recieved it three hours before I was due to leave! A great starter camera

Advantages Easy to use
Disadvantages doesn't look as sharp as some other cameras

...This was my first digital camera of my own. I'd used other peoples cameras for holidays (an older kodak and a canon) and decided it was time to invest in my own. Although it doesn't look as smart or slimline as some others like Sony its size does make it easier to use as you can get a good grip on it which means you take better pictures and you don't drop it! Its great for people who have limited use of their hands, my mum has arthritis and can work this one easily. Is also great because as you change features using the wheel, the description of the function appears on the screen, great if your eyesight is poor as the images on the wheel are small and if you can't remember what they all represent. The screen is a decent size, 2.5 inches on the diagonal- not as big as on Sony but you can see everything you need to and also use... Read review
