Kodak EASYSHARE C533

Advantages: Macro & video settings, AA batteries, SD card
Disadvantages: Lower mega pixel than what is available now

This is my second Kodak EasyShare camera and I've been happy with both so far. My first camera was a 3.1 mega pixel and we upgraded to our current C533. At the time the 5.0 was a fairly high mega pixel and it works great for all the uses we've found so far. I really like the fact that it take regular AA batteries. I like my Kodak easyshare C533 very much. It is not too big and bulky and it is easy to use. You can store some of your picture on the camera itself as well as the memory card. It has 2 ways of getting your pictures to your computer. It comes with the connection to hook the camera straight to the computer or you can remove the memory card and download. ...First of all, this isnt my ideal camera, the only reason i had bought it was because i was on holiday in Bulgaria and the camera which i had taken with me got stolen on a publc bus. So i bought this from a Bulgarian shop as it was the best camera i could find there... it didnt have much competition. First impressions was its simplicity, it has an easy to read dial across the top left on the picture which makes changing modes very easy for an amateur like me for taking different pictures. Advantages the viewfinder is allmost covering the snapshot from LCD
Disadvantages LCD is too small for me

...i bought this camera for my vacation and to help my last final task. this camera is the most afordable in price yet the quality of picture is not to bad. this camera has no long periode of battery so i must bring a backup battery, it makes me dizzy. the camera grip are not comfortable i often unaccidentally press other button. The software that comes with the camera seems to have no uninstall feature - a search for such a feature proved fruitless. I'm not sure what Kodak was up to when they decided to omit such a universal software element. besides all of that the use of this camera is easy to understand, because lack of its feature. yes of course this camera is below 100 dollar... ...I bought this camera as part of a package with the series 3 printer dock for £149.00 which I though was pretty resonable for what it was. I found that it was very easy to use and from the moment I had charged it I was ready to go, just as well as i'm not the most experienced photographer. The dial at the top makes it easy to switch between modes and is easily explanned so even the biggest amateurs (like myself) can use it without too many problems. I found that picture quality remained very good as long as I didn't try to zoom in too much, but the actual photo taking wasn't as quick as it could be and trying to take action shots is a bit of a problem.
