Advantages Easy to use. Good size

...I recently got this camera after upgrading from the DX4530, so clearly I'm happy with Kodak cameras. One of the main benefits this had over the 4530 was that it's a lot smaller and lightweight. I like that I can just slip this into a pocket or my bag and not have it take up lots of space or weight a lot. It still feels sturdy though in your hand. As a point-and-shoot camera once again, Kodak have come up with the business. It's an incredibly simple camera to use (some may say too simple) and many people won't even need to flick through the manual before they start using it. Everything is self-explanatory. This isn't the most sophisticated camera and for someone wanting more functions, this may not be the camera for them. Advantages easy of use, small and compact

...Really pleased with this camera, was bought as a 2nd camera but we use it all the time. Very easy to use and good clear pictures. Best to use rechargeable batteries as it drains normal batteries really quickly. Was expecting a carry pouch to come with it, but unfortunately it doesn't. Easy to use pc program which automatically opens once the camera is plugged in. The kodak website offers great ideas and products for your pictures, i even got 20 free prints on purchasing the camera. Its so easy to use my 5 year old daughter can use, which she loves doing. video recording option which is easy to use, but obviously uses a lot of memory. Not much internal memory so therefore a memory card needs to be bought.... Read review

Great for beginners

Advantages Sharp and bright outdoor shots, easy to use
Disadvantages Poor indoor shots, no sound in movie capture

...I have never been successful with digital cameras, there is always a problem, and this wasnt different! My last camera refused to take indoor shots properly, had the right settings etc, I thought getting a Kodak camera (decent brand) would do the trick but yet again indoors this camera is quite poor, the flash is just not strong enough for indoor or night shots, i'd give it an average in that area, other than that this camera has very few faults but if like me you want decent indoor shots i'd give this one a miss, outdoor shots do look a good quality though. It is affordable and decent and ok for beginners as the camera has a simple and straightforward interface. Buttons are - back: menu, review, Share, dedicated delete, 5-way switch for navigation, flash settings top: shutter, mode dial (off, auto, movie) Camera has self timer which... Read review
