...After I was brought my new digital Kodak Easyshare CX6330 camera for Christmas, which I also reviewed (hint, hint) and got over the initial disappointment of it not coming already equipped with a case, I decided that I would have to buy one. Or face the possibility of a broken/cracked/scratched camera, knowing how clumsy I am. ...Having had my old Kodak EasyShare CX6330 for over 3 years it was starting to look really battered and bruised and call me greedy, but I wanted more than 3.1 mega pixels for my photos! My dear husband (he's in my good books right now) thought an early Christmas present was in order so we went camera shopping and I picked out the Kodak V603 (also from the EasyShare range). The original price was £169.99, it was on offer for £159.99 and when the sales assistant rang up the sale on the till it came up with a further £10 off so we got it for just under £150. Seeing as hubby was prepared to spend considerably more, he got off fairly lightly! ...Wow what a bargin, I was looking for a cheap but decent digital camera to replace my Kodak EasyShare CX6330 which has served me very well for 5.5 years! I had a good look around for a bargin and spotted this in Tesco at just £44.97!! And so far I love this camera! It is a 6.2 megapixel with a 3x optical zoom (for me this is important as with digital zoom you lose quality - optical zoom maintains the quality) It does have an additional 5x Digital zoom should you want to get even closer (but with a slight disruption in quality, however if you are printing only 4x6inch prints, it is unlikely there will be noticeable redcution in quality in this 6.2 megapixel camera).
