Designed for audiophiles and movie fans alike, the new line is highlighted by the DV-4900, an exquisite component offering refinements such as Kenwood's exclusive 24-bit DRIVE 11 distortion reduction circuitry and 24-bit audio digital-to-analog converters. The new model also incorporate Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound decoding, enabling consumers to purchase just one component for playing both audio and video DVDs. The DV-4900, finished in a striking sterling faceplate and black lacquer wood side panels, has built-in DTS and Digital Dolby decoders to accommodate all current movie and music surround sound formats. To deliver optimum performance from DVD audiophile discs, the player has an audio sampling rate up to 192 kHz, providing the most accurate and pleasing musical reproduction possible from a home audio component. The player's 10-bit video digital-to-analog converter delivers crisp images and vivid color. The DV-4900 has two digital audio outputs (1 Coaxial, 1 TOS-Link Optical), and five video outputs (1 component, 2 S-Video, and 2 Composite Video).
