The Access Bank II Voice and Data Multiplexer is a simple, 3 Mbps throughput channel bank that converts one or two network and T1 digital access lines into 24 analog telephone circuits and high-speed digital data ports for Internet, video or Wide Area Network (WAN) connections. In addition, the Access Bank II delivers powerful features such as cross-connect capabilities, drop and insert and protection switching. The Access Bank II includes two T1 network interfaces with fully integrated channel service units, offering up to 3.0 Mbps of total throughput. This allows a second network T1 drop and insert capability and the ability to configure and groom network channels. Dual T1 interfaces offer additional networking alternatives to accommodate future bandwidth requirements or to provide protection of the user's critical voice and data applications. The Access Bank II can be easily configured to meet your specific communications requirements. For instance, a foreign exchange station (FXS) card delivers high quality lines to key systems, facsimile devices, modems, PBXs and other telephone devices. The advanced design of the Access Bank II allows either rack or wall mount in crowded wiring closets or in remote locations where space is limited. Installation and configuration take just minutes.
