Advantages: all, cheerful! Disadvantages: sometimes get on your nerves, but generally good
The Kaiser Chiefs are another band that I would be comfortable saying that I really like to listen to them because they seriously cheer me up when Im in a bad mood or feeling a little down or whatever.
Their music is very lively and upbeat, If i had to compare it to anything in the classical music period, I would say it was the baroque period, and a gigue, which is a fast dance song which is very lively and upbeat.
They also play very well live, ...

Advantages A couple of half decent offerings. Disadvantages The album as a whole is distinctly average.
...When KaiserChiefs released their début album 'Employment', I found their music greatly enjoyable. When their second album 'Yours Truly, Angry Mob' was released on the other hand, I was actually dreading listening to it having heard and hated first single 'Ruby'. I wanted to like the album, I truly did, but I just didn't see it happening as you usually find it to be the case that the first single released from an album is more or less the strongest track. When 'Yours Truly, Angry Mob' was released I made sure I listened to it, forced myself to listen to it even; it came as no surprise to me however that I was not liking what I was hearing. The album actually begins with 'Ruby', the one track I was least looking forward to hearing having already established that it was not of any appeal to me. When first listening to the album I quickly...

Advantages Highly Original! Great British Music Disadvantages Slightly expensive.. but not if you buy online!
...Firstly I'll apologise for the title, if you check the album out, you'll see "Modern Way" is a name of one of their tracks, and im afraid someone else already took the "oh my god" joke...
The KaiserChiefs are probably one of, if not the largest upcoming figures in the British rock industry, Straight from Leeds, these guys have got raw talent, originality and amazing song writing technique.
The KaiserChiefs special edition box set and DVD is the word "originality" personified.
Let's start with what this special edition has to offer. Well, it comes in a nice handy box, obviously the inlay that you would find with the normal version of this album, plus the 12 song disk. In addition we are given another CD, containing one extra song, plus live versions of a few of the KaiserChiefs songs ("Hard Times Send Me", "Modern Way," "I...

Advantages New British band, catchy songs Disadvantages A bit same-y, can they live upto the hype?
...This is a new British band that we should all be proud of. Having just returned from the biggest ‘new music’ event in the USA (South-by-Southwest in Austin Texas) and taken it by storm, it seems the KaiserChiefs are in high demand at the moment. So it was with some anticipation that I recently went out to purchase their newly released album ‘Employment’. I immediately saw what all the fuss was about.
Now the majority of people who have heard of the KaiserChiefs, will have done due to their recent single ‘Oh My God’. This upbeat and fun song with a horribly catchy chorus has been played to saturation point on stations like Radio 1 in recent weeks. I had also been a fan of their first, less well known song ‘I Predict a Riot.’
However it was from this rather limited base that decided to hand over my £9.79 at Sainsbury...
