I own this video camera for 2 years now. The first thing I must say is that it is very durable; my camera has traveled by airplane (i must say I'm not careful at all) and has also fallen from about 6 feet high and still works! It simply got a little scratch on it and I was truely surprised that it still worked normally after the fall. It was a good buy, except for the fact that the battery does not last very long until you have to recharge it again (I regret not buying a spare batterly for parties and other special occasions) and it was a bit too expensive, about $200. It has awesome zoom ability, the only downside besides the battery is that it has no light, so if you're not recording by day, the image is very dark and it becomes a bit annoying. I don't even try to record in dark places, it has no night vision.
