Feast your eyes (and ears) on the JVC FS-G6 audio system! This compact system is designed to deliver exceptional small-room performance and elegantly simple aesthetics. High quality is evident in the separate component construction - a single disc CD Player that accepts and plays both 5" CDs as well as 3" CDs, a full-logic cassette deck, and a receiver with a MOSFET output stage. The receiver features a motor-driven sliding panel that drops down to reveal the lesser used controls, while the major controls are accessible with the door closed (and from the remote). You also get a subwoofer output to simplify the addition of an outboard sub, plus the system has built-in Active Bass Extension to get the most out of the included 2-way speakers. Make your radio station tuning easier with 30 FM/15 AM presets, and maximize tape recording and playback with Dolby B noise reduction. Superior quality components are used throughout the system, resulting in beautiful sound for you. Full-Logic Tape Transport provides electronic, rather than mechanical, control of the drive system of the cassette deck. It delivers more reliability, smoother operation, and quicker one-touch control. To fast forward a cassette that is playing, simply touch the fast forward button then touch the play button when you desire. On mechanical transports, you would have to stop the tape, press fast-forward, press stop, then press play. Compu Play turns the system on when you press a source (CD, Cassette, or Tuner) key and initiates the "play" process for that source - all from touching a single button. Dolby B Noise Reduction System greatly reduces irritating cassette tape hiss by about 10 dB while increasing dynamic range on Dolby B encoded cassette tapes. This makes for a much quieter, richer sounding reproduction of your favorite cassette. Bass + Treble Controls allow you to adjust the bass (lower) and treble (higher) frequencies of the music to your own individual listening tastes. Optical (TOS-link) Digital Output is used to send a pure digital signal to the digital input on another product, such as a Dolby Digital receiver or MD recorder. Subwoofer Preamp Output sends the subwoofer (also know as LFE, or Low Frequency Effects, on Dolby Digital receivers) frequencies to an optional powered subwoofer, enhancing your system bass response and enriching your listening experience. Random Play shuffles and randomly plays every track in complete random order without repeating a single track, until all selections have played. Clock controls all timer functions and puts the time just a touch of a button away. Full Function Remote Control provides complete control of the unit from the comfort and convenience of your chair.
