I just purchased this camera last month and have used it many times. The controls are easy to use and the pictures are sharp and clear. The videos are simple to burn to DVD, back up to my computer hard drive, share in e-mails or attach to the television for viewing. I also like the feature of being able to easily switch to still shots. Having the hard drive eliminates the need of having back-up memory cards although it will accept a standard SD memory card for ease in printing the still shots on to a photo printer. I almost feel like I don't have to carry the digital camera as well because this camera serves both functions. The battery is long lasting. Love this camera and would recommend to all.
