JVC's RC-BZ5 is an AM/FM/cassette/CD boombox that packs a digital tuner and comes with a remote control. This unit's amp delivers a rated 5 watts per channel. The single-CD player has a cool see-through lid, so you can watch your discs spin. It also has a synchro-start function, which will start your CD and cassette rolling at precisely the same time when you are recording. Plus there is a drift-free digitally (numerically) tuned radio with enough memory to store 15 AM and 20 FM stations as presets. The RC-BZ5 has two 4-inch, bass-reflex design speakers with cloth grilles. Whatever style of music you play through this model's speakers can be modified by using the preset equalizer. You may choose beat, pop or clear, each of which will highlight distinct aspects of the music, like treble tones and bass frequencies. This unit even has a clock/timer that'll send you to sleep and wake you up.
