...the shot is usually gone by then. Battery life and lens quality are good as is usual with Jenoptik. The advantages with Jenoptik are that they are principally an optical company rather than an electrical company so lens quality is important to them. ...I wanted a camera to take snaps to view on the pc and not for printing and this was ideal for me. I didnt use to take it out with me a lot for fear of losing/breaking it but I figured the whole point of having it was to view the snaps so ive started doing that now. Its not brilliant quality and theres much better ones out there but for the price if you just want a fun camera so you can mail pics to friends then its ideal. After 18 months of use the USB connection on the camera is broken and the battery compartment is a bit dodgy and wont open all the time - i would be interested to know if this i shoddy design or just overuse and not being too careful with it after a few beers(!) Overall Id say if you want to take quality photos for printing then go for something more expensive and better quality but if you just want to take snaps... Read review

...This is an excellent first digital camera. For a price of under £100 it has all the features of more expensive cameras. I found the instructions a little confusing to get to grips with, but after a little playing, I found it extremely easy to use. It has all the important features of auto and manual pics. 63 second video mode, audio recording, pc cam, and a quality lcd playback screen. It has 3 different image sizes and normal or fine quality picture mode. The 8mb memory that it comes with allows 19 pictures on fine mode with a size of 1600 x 1280 pix, up to 241 pictures on normal mode with a size of 640 x 480 pix. There are many other features such as self timer, an excellent macro, (great for close ups, though a tripod is recommended), and a facility to take 5 pictures simultaneously.
