This doughnut shaped speakers is the JBL ON Stage speaker. Because it is only 2 inches in height, JBL on stage wont fall down even if you'll shake the table wherein it is placed. It has rubber soles that supports the speakers. It is only about 450g in weight. But though it looks like portable, this speakers only runs when you plug it on an AC power, it is not battery supported. Either it's on or off, docked ipods on it are charged. CD players, MP3's, computer or laptops can also be connected through its mini jack that is located at its back. Sound Quality? Superb! Even in the highest volume, sound is crisp and clear. One cool thing I also loved was its touch volume control. Say goodbye to those push buttons and slides.
